Canoeing

Canoeing – Apart from the allotment, paddling continued in the early part of the year but became very sporadic when Kath was ill. 

Mick spectated at the annual New Year K2 Knockout at Nottingham. We have both done the race in the past but these days watching is tiring enough. Mick's YouTube video is at https://youtu.be/IRKKDFFSgso

We did a few races. We hadn’t done the Nottingham race for years as we had mostly helped with running it. We didn’t really enjoy it as the weather was very windy and there was very little shelter. Mick did Lincoln & Burton in K1 and really enjoyed them.

Mick also went to Soar but didn't paddle. It was good to see some paddling friends there.
